You found me!
I'm Pinny - keeper of small secrets & broken buttons.
She was stitched with too many hearts and that’s what everyone said.
Tiny ones, crooked ones, bright ones, faded ones.
They covered her dress, her sleeves, even her pockets.
Whenever she loved something, another heart would pop off and need stitching back on.
She loved quickly.
She loved loudly.
She loved everything; people, animals, hobbies, ideas.
But she loved so much that she always worried she might break things by holding on too tightly.
Her biggest fear wasn’t bugs or shadows or losing her button smile.
It was this:
“What if my love isn’t enough?”
She tried too hard.
She hugged too tight.
She worked until she was exhausted.
She chased perfection because she thought love had to be flawless to be worthy.
One day, after another heart popped off her dress, she stopped and realised something:
Love doesn’t have to be perfect.
Love doesn’t have to be loud.
Love doesn’t have to be proven over & over again.
You are enough exactly as you are.
She doesn’t chase anymore.
She doesn’t squeeze too hard.
She still loves with her whole collection of hearts but now she knows that love isn’t earned by effort.
It’s simply given.
Freely and gently.
“What if my love is not enough?”
“So I give more, try harder, love louder… hoping it will be returned.”
And sometimes you think:
“I’ll try harder, because then maybe it’ll turn out right…
maybe someone will see it…
maybe my love will be enough.”
But the truth is the warm truth that she learns is:
Love doesn’t have to be perfect to be enough.
You don’t have to be perfect to be enough.
Your effort itself is the love.
MORE hearts,
MORE hugs,
MORE effort,
MORE everything…
…until she realises:
She was always enough.
“You are enough.
Your love is enough.
You don’t need to try harder to be worthy — you already are.”
A Note from Yasemin
When I first stitched Pinny, her pockets came out wonky. But then I realised — that’s where the magic lives. Imperfection is her charm. Every uneven seam tells a story.
